Michelle has nearly 30 years of experience in the Natural Specialty and CPG industry.  Her experience includes companies such as Nonni’s Foods, Pinnacle Foods, and Tyson Foods.  She brings a wealth of knowledge to Adesso in customer business planning, trade marketing, and revenue management.  Please join us in welcoming her to the Adesso flock!

Further Enhancing Trade Effectiveness for Adesso’s TPE Client Community through 1H 2021 Initiatives

Rolling Meadows, IL. February 5, 2021 – We are pleased to announce the addition of Tim Pantzlaff to the Adesso team. This is the first of a series of 1H 2021 initiatives and investments to further focus Adesso on enhancing client success and their business growth. Tim will leverage his CPG and Natural-Specialty Trade expertise and spearhead our “Client Effectiveness” (services) department that drives trade effectiveness for Adesso’s client-partners. He will lead new client setups, ongoing solution releases, the AdessoU training program for clients and broker partners. Additionally, Tim will lead execution of ongoing proactive trade promotion effectiveness (TPE) services for our client community.

Tim Pantzlaff Has an Extensive Career in CPG

His background includes Birds Eye Foods, J.M. Smucker, Sargento, SC Johnson and most recently, 9 years with Traditional Medicinals in the natural-specialty segment. He has detailed knowledge of trade, including strategy and planning, sales forecasting, analysis and reporting. He also has experience implementing trade and ERP systems, as well as working with sales teams and brokers.

It’s Not Just About the TPM Software

Too many small and medium sized (SMB) CPG’s seem to think that the “TPM software” is the panacea that will be the answer to their problems. Therefore, they send out their RFP and call in the usual solution providers in the TPM space for “demos” of the solution. And so it kicks off the next “rush to the demo” on the part of the providers anxious to display their fancy approach to clearing a deduction and how few clicks it takes to perform a particular function.
But this approach can be very misleading because maximizing trade promotion effectiveness (TPE) requires much more than just the software. It’s also about the approach, the partnership with the provider, and the ability to tap into a community of other SMB CPG’s for perspective and benchmarking. Continue reading

Does the management team have client side / CPG manufacturer experience working with major CPG brands and sizable trade budgets?
